- .NET Controls
- Name of the third party control used
- Version of the third party control used. [Example: Infragistics 7.1]
- Framework version used for the AUT. [Example: .Net 1.0/.Net 2.0/.Net 3.0]
- Sample application for the control is preferable and this is a must for a custom
control.
NOTE: For RFT proxy please send us the version of rtxftnet.dll
which will be present in the RFT bin folder (typically C:\Program Files\IBM\SDP70\FunctionalTester\bin),
as we need to build the proxy against the same. You can also check the version information
in Assembly (C:\WINDOWS\assembly).
- Win32 or ActiveX (VB) Controls
- Version of Visual-Studio used to build the application under test. [Example: VS6.0/VS2003/VS2005/VS2008]
- Is MFC used for the application under test ? If yes, is it statically or dynamically
linked?
- Are you using Unicode version or MBCS character structure?
- If the controls used are ActiveX (VB) components, please send us the OCX file as
we need to build the proxy against the same.
- If the controls used are Win32 components, please send us the control dlls, header
files and the dependency files, as we need to build the proxy against the same.
- Sample application for the control is preferable and this is a must for a custom
control.
NOTE: Win32 or ActiveX proxies might require few lines of source
code changes in the control library or application under test to setup the proxies.
- Oracle Forms Controls
- Oracle proxy requires a valid license to be installed before it can be activated
and used for evaluation. Please follow the steps based on your requirement to get
an evaluation copy and license
Run the following command from the command prompt as per the platform
- Windows : (From within command prompt) C:\ipconfig /all
- Linux : (From within shell) ifconfig
