Client’s portfolio comprises of products which have multiple components like wireless,
firmware, software, etc. each of which is developed by teams which are globally
distributed & managed independently. Each of the component development teams
follows their own processes to manage the development activities & also adopt
tools which best suit their needs resulting in lack of standardization on tool adaptation.
Few of the problems originating from these are
- Program delays
resulting from lack of visibility into status across each of the component teams
- Lack of meaningful reporting
on information managed across multiple systems was impossible
- Manual data synchronization resulted in
loss of accuracy & integrity of information
- Lack of automation
of processes, requiring manual enforcement to policies
A program management platform modeled using BizAPP offering key features such as

could step back in time and review actually program status at any given point in

PD3 given the limitations in point solution,
- e.g. information managed in Excel by some teams were not
accessible by others in a centralized manner, requiring sharing of Excel by email
or such resulting in loss of integrity,
- Results from testing system managed using home grown solution
was not easily accessible by all concerned across distributed sites for analysis
and further action,
- Reporting and analytics which spans solution boundaries
was made possible

of information across sites.
