Client’s portfolio comprises of products which have multiple components like wireless, firmware, software, etc. each of which is developed by teams which are globally distributed & managed independently. Each of the component development teams follows their own processes to manage the development activities & also adopt tools which best suit their needs resulting in lack of standardization on tool adaptation. Few of the problems originating from these are
  • Program delays resulting from lack of visibility into status across each of the component teams
  • Lack of meaningful reporting on information managed across multiple systems was impossible
