As the chairman of AppPoint Software Solutions, Ramasastry Ambarish leads the management
team at AppPoint offering strategic guidance & ensuring overall health of the
organization. Ramasastry Ambarish is also the founder and Managing Partner of SRB2Group,
LLC, a portfolio management and advisory firm engaged in facilitating FII investments
in Indian private and public equity markets. He has over fifteen years of experience
in the investment and securities industries, with a focus on alternative investments.
He has advised many large institutional investors around the world including pension
funds, central banks and treasuries.
Previously, he served as Vice President with the Global Markets Group of Citibank/Salomon
Smith Barney ("Citibank"). In that role he was responsible for product structuring
and for marketing a variety of derivative products to hedge funds. Prior to Citibank,
Mr. Ambarish was a Principal Financial Officer at the World Bank, Washington D.C.,
where he was responsible for managing the World Bank′s more than $100 billion
portfolio of structured bonds and derivatives, and advising many treasuries and
central banks around the globe on investment strategies.
Prior to joining the World Bank, Mr. Ambarish was a faculty member at several business
schools including the Stern School of Business (NYU), McGill University (Montreal),
and the University of Wisconsin (Madison), and Georgetown University (Washington
D.C). He has authored several articles in professional journals including the Journal
of Finance and RISK magazine. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Stern School
of Business (NYU), an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management, a B.E. (Electrical
Technology & Electronics) from the Indian Institute of Science, and a B.Sc.
(Physics & Mathematics) from the University of Mysore, India.

As CEO and VP of engineering, Venki is responsible for overall strategy of the company.
Venki′s vision for AppPoint is to translate it into a leading provider of
a process management platform & services which enable organizations to streamline
their business processes. Prior to founding AppPoint, Venki was with IBM, Rational
Software for over 12 years. Venki brings with him the extensive experience of architecting
& developing enterprise software solutions using diverse technology. Having
a proven track record with managing complex, large–scale, multi–product
application development teams from concept to delivery; Venki is responsible for
AppPoint′s overall strategic direction and engineering initiatives. Venki
leads the architectural efforts on AppPoint′s flagship product BizAPP Studio.

Venki has a BS degree from National Institute of Engineering and an MS degree from
Oklahoma State University. Prior to IBM Rational Software, Venki was with Actel
Corporation for a 2 year period.

Founder, CTO.
Having around 7+ years of experience in IT industry, Raj is a lead architect in
the solutions group of AppPoint Software Solutions. Prior to being a part of AppPoint,
Raj was a part of the core development team at Rational where, he played key roles
on various solutions like Rational ClearQuest, Rational Robot and Rational Functional
Tester. At Rational, Raj architected the very first functional testing solution
for .NET platform. During his tenure, Raj has designed, implemented and lead a team
building enterprise solutions on Microsoft and Linux platforms. He was instrumental
in architecting solutions that enable integration of various systems, building extensibility
to existing solutions that enabled customers to enhance out–of–the–box solutions
to meet their specific requirement.
Raj has a Bachelor degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore. Raj was with
Tata Infotech Limited for 2 years and was in Japan for a year before moving to Rational
Software.

Founder, VP of Engineering.
Saravanan is Director of Engineering Services at AppPoint Software Solutions. His
rich experience in software technology varies from programming, project management
and managing delivery. Saravanan has been instrumental in getting the company certified
on ISO 9001 processes in less than 12 months of being operational & is responsible
for driving the quality initiatives at AppPoint.
Prior to joining AppPoint, he was with IBM Rational Software for
5 years. During his tenure, he developed the first of its kind, functional testing
solution for .NET platform. Saravanan with his in-depth understanding of technology
was instrumental in architecting functional testing support for packaged applications
like Siebel & SAP using Rational Functional Tester. Saravanan holds a Bachelor′s
degree from Regional Engineering College, Tiruchirappalli.
At AppPoint, Saravanan leads the IBM competency center, which focuses on providing
solutions and services using tools and technologies from IBM, Rational Software.
Under his leadership, the team has developed & delivered several add-on solutions
addressing specific functional gaps in solutions from IBM, Rational Software and
addressing diverse problems being faced by clients. He is also involved in architecting
and extending BizAPP framework as well as in developing solutions catering to specific
customer needs.
Saravanan′s vision for AppPoint is to make it a quality and client centric
organization with an aim to be CMM certified in a year′s time.

Director.
Chandra Shekar, as Director at AppPoint Software Solutions leads a team responsible
for design and developing of business management solutions using BizAPP BPP. He
has been instrumental in architecting and implementing BizAPP Client component.
Chandru also leads the team responsible for offering Change & Configuration
Management services at AppPoint.
Chandru brings with him extensive expertise from his association with the core development
team at IBM, Rational software where he was involved in development of wide spectrum
of products like Rational Robot, Rational Functional Tester, XDE and Rational SoDA.
During his tenure at Rational, he was involved in architecting the functional testing
support for packaged applications like SAP using Rational Functional Tester.
Chandru holds a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from PES Institute of Technology
Bangalore, India.

Director of Business Development and Operations.
|
With an Engineering Degree and post graduation in Marketing Management and Business
Administration, Mahesh leads the Business development & Operations team at AppPoint.
His experience has spanned over 16 years in Marketing and Business Development for
leading multinational companies with exposure to international marketing.
At AppPoint Mahesh manages specialized alliance and Partner management, Business
Development and Customer relationship functions. Under his leadership AppPoint has
successfully established partnership with few Fortune 500 companies and has worked
with strategic clients in introducing products and solutions to them.

Mahesh has led the team in the development of strategies, policies and processes
across all functions that will help to achieve the company′s mission and core
objectives.
As the Management Representative, Mahesh has been instrumental in getting AppPoint
certified for Quality Management System.
